On those pages you will notice that we list the quality of our releases. You may be wondering what we mean by “HLQ” so here’s a list and what we mean by those types:
- LQ - low quality – typically the pages are very small, the text might be squeezed on the page, and it’s not a very clean release. Example Image
- HLQ – high low quality – the pages might be big and easy to read, but the picture may washed out or the pages may have a yellowish tint to them. Not as clean as MQ. Example Image
- MQ – medium quality – typically these pages are scans from magazines (Shounen Jump, for example). They are easy to read, are in good quality but not as clean as a high quality release. Example Image
- HQ – high quality – the best you can get; these releases are usually from the tankoubon or kanzenban releases (with kanzenban being the best of the best) Example Image
